Simplification of a hospitality hub
via user-centred website design.

Redmako is a leading provider of hospitality support, information, and training in Queensland. Their aim is to shake up the industry and provide their clients with the services and backing they need to grow and flourish.

With offerings that cover everything from bookkeeping and financial advice; to staff training and business sales support, Redmako required a more efficient way to communicate their services and unite them under one banner.

To achieve this, Redmako engaged Vivo Group to develop an online hub that would provide them with a base to expand and reach their clients.

Flexibility.

Building a flexible environment for Redmako was the main goal for this development project. We worked with Reload Consulting on a strategy that would showcase each of the key service areas being offered and set them up on a strong foundation that would allow for future expansion and customisation using the Vivo Content Management System.

To help guide the user through this setup, we created two menus; one focused on information about the company, and the other its key services. Secondary brand colours were applied to each service area to inform the user of where they were on the site, while the service menu was set to collapse into a quick access dropdown for viewing on smaller screens and devices.

Building a hospitality hub.

There are four service areas that make up Redmako’s offerings: Learning, Business Sales, Finance, and Bookkeeping. To ensure this information wasn’t lost amongst the other content on the site, we set up each service area as an information hub surfacing important information, resources, and news from within.

It always comes down to content.

The Redmako website is vast and rich with information. Content pages outside of the division hubs told the story of Redmako and their team, while also providing general hospitality information and resources. Where this information required a custom solution, we worked with Redmako to develop page structures that conveyed that information efficiently and clearly.

This flexibility was ultimately achieved through the integration of Vivo Group’s proprietary content management system, ensuring custom modules provided for scalability as required both now, and into the future.
